World Quest

What is WorldQuest Delaware?

WorldQuest is a fun, team competition testing knowledge of international current events, politics, geography, global issues, peoples of the world and people in the news.  Each year specific topics are selected by the national, World Affairs Councils of America.  Regional World Affairs Councils hold local competitions to select a high school to represent that Council at the national competition, Academic WorldQuest.

There are ten rounds of ten multiple choice questions and team members confer to arrive at a single answer. To prepare, read nationally prominent newspapers (e.g., The New York Times) and magazines, watch world news on TV, review world almanacs and go to fpa.org to review Great Decisions.

The 2009 questions and results are now available below. To learn even more about WorldQuest, you can also check out the content that last year's WorldQuest 2008 covered.
